Maxi Gómez maintaining recovery programme
Maxi Gómez' recovery from injury continues during the enforced break in LaLiga action due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the Uruguayan is undertaking a daily training plan to get back to full fitness.
The striker, who fractured the fifth metatarsal of his left foot and underwent surgery on March 3rd, has a stationary bike, weights and other equipment at home, and is using them to train. He is working around the brace that he is still required to wear.

"Focused on recovery and looking ahead to coming back" was the message from the club's top LaLiga goalscorer this season, with 9 strikes.
Gómez and the rest of the squad have been given personalised plans by the medical department and fitness coaches at Valencia CF, to keep them in shape during the layoff.
