Óscar Fernández: “We must continue in the same way and learn from this loss”

VCF Mestalla head coach, Óscar Fernández, rued the missed opportunity away at Orihuela CF as he highlighted the work done.

 VCF Mestalla fell to their opening loss away at Orihuela CF on Matchday 4 of Segunda B at the Los Arcos municipal ground by 2-1 amidst a controversial penalty call.

 VCF Mestalla head coach, Óscar Fernández spoke in post-match press conference to share his thoughts on the game.

“Beyond this rued opportunity we leave here feeling hard done by because the good work isn’t reflected on the scoreline. We must continue playing in the same way. The boys gave it their all. These kinds of losses are tough to take but they help us to keep on learning and growing“.
