Paulista: "Overall we had a good game"
Included in the starting lineup against former club Villarreal CF, Gabriel Paulista spoke after the derby loss to give his views on the Matchday 6 encounter.
"We go home very hot-headed because of some of the individual mistakes that we made. For example, I made a mistake that I shouldn't be making. That's football. Now we have little time to recover and think about the next game, which we will be looking to win," he told VCF Media.
"We have to take away the many things that we did well. There were individual mistakes, but overall we had a good game. It wasn't a disastrous game. Villarreal also have good players and a good team. They made the most of our mistakes. I think that we were much better in the second half than they were, but Dani Parejo got the ball outside the box and finished off with a shot that deflected off Diakhaby. We have to forget about this game now. Tomorrow is a new day. We have to look at what we did well, to take that into the next game and look for the win."
