Diego López: "I'm really happy with what we Valencia CF players are contributing to the Spanish national team"
The Valencia CF forward is through to the U21 EURO quarter-finals
Carlos Soler joined up with the Valencia CF squad on Wednesday, making almost the entirety of the group available to coach Marcelino for preseason preparations. He was returning to work after a short break following his participation in Spain's successful Under-21s European Championships campaign.
The VCF Academy product was congratulated on that win, which capped a great season that also included his first Copa del Rey medal, as he went out for the afternoon training session at the Ciudad Deportiva.
Marcelino had given his players the morning off, and ran through a tactical session in which Soler worked alongside his teammates. The squad had come back from their preseason camp in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, the previous night.
