Ricardo Arias: “Playing the first match at Mestalla is a big boost - we have to take advantage of it”
The Valencia CF legend and Club ambassador reacts to the LALIGA EA SPORTS 2025/26 fixture list on L’Informatiu on VCF Media Radio.
The Valencia CF coaching staff have made some modifications to training over the course of the past week, and have varied the skills work for the players depending on their position on the field of play. Positioning, clearances, dribbles, passes and shots have all been on the agenda since the return to work.
Physically, the players are getting ever-more prepared for the demanding schedule that awaits them when LaLiga resumes, reflecting favourably on their dedication during the period of confinement at home. Regaining ball skills is perhaps the hardest aspect to work on away from the training ground, and it has been given special attention over the past seven days.
Team spirit remains high despite the players being separated, with the members of the squad in constant contact both in passing at the Ciudad Deportiva and through the use of modern technology.
