Valencia CF and PlayStation to host 'Torneo FIFA20’ Club Scouting Challenge' at Mestalla
This Saturday, February 8th, Mestalla will host the final stage of the ‘Torneo FIFA20 – Club Scouting Challenge' tournament, organised by Valencia CF and PlayStation. The champion of the competition will become a professional FIFA20 EA Sports player with Powergym Valencia CF eSports during the course of the season.
Of the over 5,000 players who participated in the knockout stages online, both in Europe and Korea, only 16 remain. Two of them are from the Valencia region.
Valencia CF are one of the pioneering clubs in having their own eSports division, and showed their commitment by hosting this event along with PlayStation. The tournament will see the 16 finalists wearing the Powergym Valencia CF eSports shirt, with the team debuting a new sponsor logo on their sleeves thanks to an agreement reached with Blinkfire Analytics.
Doors will open at 3pm at the Mestalla VIP Box, and the grand final will be played at 5:30pm. Every entrant into the final phase will receive a special prize, including a personalised PlayStation controller. The winner will receive a shirt signed by the entire Valencia CF squad, and become a professional Powergym Valencia CF eSports ‘FIFA20’ player for a whole season.
