Valencia CF contribute to promoting sport among youth of Somali
Valencia CF are making a difference in Somalia, where the club have participated in the donation of equipment to help promote sport among children and young people.
The delivery of shirts donated by Valencia CF, through the military mission of the European Union, took place recently. The objective of the initiative is to use sport as an integrating element. Other clubs in the Valencia region are also taking part, including Elche CF, Levante UD, Villarreal CF, CD Castellón and Hércules CF, in addition to the FFCV.

The EUTM-S (European Union Training Mission in Somalia), is carrying out a campaign to promote sport among children and young people as part of the complementary stabilisation process in the country.
Coinciding with the reopening of the Mogadishu national football stadium last July, countries that contribute troops to this mission and who have a renowned footballing tradition were asked to contact the most prestigious clubs in their respective countries, for the donation of sports equipment. Valencia CF, with ambassador Miguel Tendillo present, participated in the donation event last October.
