Valencia CF support Cruz Roja on Flag Day
Thursday, November 11th is the Cruz Roja organisation’s Flag Day, which this year is dedicated to helping children in the community. The president of Valencia CF, Anil Murthy, was accompanied by the executive director, Joey Lim, the director general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, director general of the VCF Academy, Sean Bai, and club ambassadors Ricardo Arias and Miguel Angel Bossio, as they visited the donation table on the doorstep of the VCF Foundation headquarters.

Likewise, Javi Navarro and David Vassilev, footballers from Juvenil A, Ángel Sanchis and Irune Cervera, from VCF Femenino A and B, VCF Inclusivo players Edu Gómez, Manuel Morenilla and Toni Reyes and, on behalf of the VCF Footballers Association, Vicente Guillot and Arturo Boix also came along to support the Cruz Roja, with regional president Rafael Gandía thanking the club for their commitment.

Among its most outstanding projects in the Valencian Community, the Cruz Roja Juventud will this year support almost 1,200 girls and boys with the "Promotion of School Success" campaign; and, with the "Educational Toy" campaign, will provide a new toy to families in difficulty -another 4,400 children. The organisation will carry out more than 8,000 interventions to reduce the risk of social exclusion, and plans to carry out around 3,000 other interventions to support hospitalised children.
