On Friday, November 12th, VCF Inclusivo head to Tarragona to close the 2019/20 LaLiga Genuine Santander season, suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic and not held during the 2020/21 campaign for the same reason.
Salvador González “Voro”, Valencia CF Organisational Director, and Miguel Tendillo, Social Ambassador for the club, were accompanied by the Director General of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, as they visited the team's training session.
Voro said that: “We are very proud that you are wearing the club badge, because we are all one family. We are all Valencia CF. We are behind you, and can see the effort you are making. Compete as a team and with pride, regardless of the result,"
Tendillo added that: “The important thing is that you continue playing sport, with the support of Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation. It is clear that you like it… as you are smiling."
VCF Inclusivo play on Saturday against Albacete Fundación (11.30am) and against CD Tenerife (6.30pm); On Sunday they meet Real Betis Balompié (10am).
The Tarragona stage will bring together the 36 participating teams of the 2019/20 season and will determine the 3 winning teams: Sporting champions of the Compañerismo and Deportividad groups, and the Fair Play champions.
In addition, the 6 new teams that will join the competition in the 2021/22 season (Fundació Barça, SD Ponferradina, CF Fuenlabrada, Burgos CF, FC Cartagena and UD Ibiza) will attend this event as guests, to enjoy the Genuine experience in a friendly tournament.
