🎙️ Lato: "We're going for victory in a special derby against Levante"
Valencia CF play a derby against Levante UD this Friday, which will be a special game for some of the VCF Academy products involved in the first team setup. Toni Lato is one such player, and the fullback spoke to VCF Media to preview the game and talk about the confidence in the squad.

"The victory against Villarreal last week was an important win, and we want to get a run going. We're very excited about the game against Levante and want to do well in it," he said on Tuesday.
"It's been a pending aim for us, as we haven't been able to take that step forward when we've had the opportunity. I think that it's a good time for us, and we are all putting in the effort. I think it's the time for us to do it, and we're going to try."

"We have to be consistent. In the end, we've lacked that consistency in games, and an extension of things that we've done well in matches like last week's win," Lato continued.
"It's a derby and that makes it a special game for those of us who are from here. We're going to go for it."

"It's a tough game. It's a very special one, as it's a derby, and those of us who are from here are aware of what it means. I wish we could play with the fans there, but we can't. It's going to be a difficult match. Levante come into it off a defeat in their last game, but they'd had good showings before that. We try to take advantage of moments of weakness from the opposition, and we're going for that good run of results."
