Opposition:
Valencia CF will host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Trofeu Taronja on Saturday 10th of August at 9 pm kick-off time ( CET) at Mestalla in their curtain-raiser before their season opener next Saturday.
Valencia CF have crossed paths with Eintracht Frankfurt twice. The first dates back to 1969 on the occasion of the Club's 50th anniversary at Mestalla with the likes of Paquito García José Ramón Fuentes, and Poli Muñoz on the scoresheet for Valencia CF.
On 11 August 2012, the two teams faced each other again, this time at the Commerzbank Arena (Germany). the home side came away with 4-2. The goals for Valencia CF were courtesy of Pablo Hernández and Pablo Piatti.
Rubén Baraja's side will try to end their preseason on a positive note by picking up their maiden and much-needed preseason win in front of the Mestalla crowd.
