VCF Mestalla to compete in a new-look Premier League International Cup
The reserve side will face West Ham United, Middlesbrough, Southampton FC and Manchester United in a U21 competition featuring academies from different European countries.
Valencia CF's 'B' team (VCF Mestalla) will face different English teams in the U21 competition
VCF Mestalla retuns to competition one more year at international level. The team will participate in Premier League International Cup, a U21 competition that organizes the Premier League where 16 english teams will face off against other teams from countries like Germany, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Croatia, Denmark or Belgium.
The team led by Miguel Ángel Angulo will play this tournament for the third year in a row. The VCF Mestalla made it to the semifinals in the 2022/23 season. This year there will be 32 teams competing.

This year VCF Mestalla is part of Group A and will face 4 english teams: Nottingham Forest, Reading, Wolverhampton and Tottenham Hotspurs.

The 36 participating teams are divided into four groups of 8, in which each team plays 4 games before the English teams and in which the first two in each group qualify for the quarterfinals.
