Valencia CF midfielder reflects on the defeat against Deportivo Alavés
Valencia CF midfielder, Enzo Barrenechea, shared his thoughts on the loss to Deportivo Alavés on Matchday 36 of LALIGA EA SPORTS 2024–25.
Defeat
“We’re very frustrated. We didn’t play the way we had been in recent matches, but we’re really angry in the dressing room about the penalty that was given against us, and about the goal. These are the referee’s decisions, and we have to keep going.”
Penalty
“Everyone on the pitch saw it. The Alavés players were saying it wasn’t a penalty, and one of them even gave us the ball back thinking the foul had gone their way. I don’t know what the referee saw.”
Upcoming matches
“Now it's time to focus on Sunday at home. We’ll take it one game at a time and try to pick up as many points as possible.”
