Valencia CF Players Association to play the 4th charity match for the DANA in Puertollano
This charity match will take place against a team of Atlético Puertollano veterans on 15 June at 12:00 at the Estadio Ciudad de Puertollano.
A team of Valencia CF Legends will take on a veteran side from Puertollano on Sunday, 15 June at 12:00 at the Estadio Ciudad de Puertollano, in the province of Ciudad Real.
Under the slogan “There is still much to be done”, the veterans of Atlético Puertollano have organised this charity football match in aid of the families affected by the DANA floods that struck parts of the province of Valencia and the town of Letur on 29 October.
The proceeds will go to help those in need of financial support to recover some sense of normality in their lives, as many families still face ongoing challenges after the devastation.
The match will be played on Sunday, 15 June at 12:00 at the Estadio Ciudad de Puertollano, with tickets priced at just €5. This symbolic amount is intended to make it easy for everyone to contribute by attending and to showcase the solidarity of the people of Puertollano.
Some well-known former Valencia CF players will feature in the match, including Gonzalo De los Santos, Juan Sánchez, Jorge López, Nando and Fernando Giner.
Donations from the Valencia CF Players Association, through the FFCV
As in previous matches held in Torrent, Cheste and Villarrobledo, all proceeds from this fixture, raised by the Valencia CF Players Association, will go directly to the Football Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV), which created a Fila Cero for those wishing to contribute to the recovery efforts following the DANA.
To this end, the FFCV has made the following donation channels available:
Bank account (Banc Sabadell): ES53 0081 0145 0900 0462 2469
BIZUM: 10763 (under the “Donate to NGO” section)
All donations will go entirely toward rebuilding football and futsal in the Comunitat Valenciana following the disaster.
It is also worth noting that the Valencia CF Players Association has already contributed over €15,000 to this cause, as reported by the FFCV on its official website.
