The magic of Mestalla brings the curtain down on the III VCF Academy Coaches Convention

The 60 coaches from America, Asia and Europe enjoyed a closing day that was attended by Javier Solís and Ron Gourlay

Mestalla Stadium was the setting for the closing day of the III VCF Academy Coaches Convention, a training meeting in which 60 coaches from the VCF Academy Programs developed by Valencia CF in different parts of America, Asia and Europe have taken part.

The Mestalla VIP box brought together the coaches, who throughout the week have formed the different levels of the Coaches Convention, to deepen the playing identity of the VCF Academy.

The closing ceremony of the III VCF Academy Coaches Convention was attended by the General Director of Valencia CF, Javier Solís, the CEO of Football, Ron Gourlay, the director of the VCF Academy, Luis Martínez, and the ambassador and Club legend, Ricardo Arias, who thanked the coaches who came from Mexico, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Lithuania, Serbia, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Malta for their commitment and their work to spread valencianismo around the world.

Being here you can feel the energy and passion of Mestalla”, highlighted Ron Gourlay. “We need people like you who help to spread this passion around the world.” For his part, the General Director, Javier Solís, especially thanked the connection with the Club. “It is very emotional to see that there are different ways of living and feeling Valencia CF. It is not easy either to be far from Valencia and be able to do this work, thank you very much for the effort you make every day.”

The closing event ended with a great family photo on the pitch of Mestalla, on which the different coaches took the opportunity to immortalise their presence and their memory in this III VCF Coaches Convention, in which they have been able to strengthen their ties with the Club and between the different projects of the VCF Academy Programs, as shown by the emotional farewells.

Meeting with Carlos Corberán

Throughout these days, the 60 coaches from America, Asia and Europe have had the opportunity to hold a meeting with the Valencia CF head coach, Carlos Corberán, who encouraged them to continue training for the challenges that football always presents.

The participants also had theoretical and practical training sessions during this week with the different departments that make up the VCF Academy and were able to raise their questions also with the coaching staffs of VCF Juvenil A and VCF Juvenil B in a third edition that has increased the number of participants and the different training levels.

VCF ACADEMY PROGRAMS

The III VCF Academy Coaches Convention is part of the VCF Academy Programs, which each season organise a wide programme of activities in which more than 5,000 players and 400 coaches from more than 50 countries around the world participate and who can get to know better the playing methodology of the VCF Academy.

The VCF Soccer Academies with which the VCF Academy operates in strategic markets in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, the VCF Soccer Camps, the international alliances, the technical consultancy or the VCF Academy World Cup are part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs that help to globally expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colours symbolise.
