Valencia CF Femenino have reached an agreement with Camila Sáez, who joins the club on a two-year deal through to June 30th, 2028.
Born in Chile on 17 October 1994, Camila Sáez is an experienced defender who arrives from Bristol City, where she played during the 2025/26 season.
Sáez began her professional career in her native Chile, representing Unión La Calera, Everton, Cobreloa and Colo-Colo. She moved to Spain in 2018, joining Rayo Vallecano, where she made 100 appearances between 2018 and 2022. She then went on to play for Deportivo Alavés (2022/23) and Madrid CFF (2023/24), before making the switch to English football. In the summer of 2024, she signed for West Ham United.
At international level, Camila progressed through Chile's youth national teams before making her senior debut in 2011. Since then, she has enjoyed an outstanding international career, featuring in four editions of the Copa América Femenina, finishing as runners-up in 2018. She also represented Chile at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and the 2025/26 UEFA Women's Nations League.
The Chilean international joins Valencia CF Femenino aiming to become a key figure in the team's defence. A left-footed centre-back, she is renowned for her physicality, excellent anticipation and reliability in one-on-one defensive situations.
