Pepelu: "The fans deserve it"

Speaking after Valencia CF's win over Elche CF, Pepelu praised his teammates for their showing in the Matchday 11 contest.

The win

“It’s a huge win that we really needed. We’ve seen other teams around us winning this weekend, and this is a morale boost that restores our confidence. We’ve been working hard for the team's development, and we’re happy with the victory. We're also happy for the fans.”

The league table

“There are no easy games; there’s very little difference between us all in points. We are capable of winning anywhere we go, and hopefully the victories will begin at Mestalla, because the fans deserve it.”

A team effort

“We needed it from everybody. This is a team. Sadiq's return is good for the squad, and I'm happy for him."

His versatility

“I’ve always said that I’ll play wherever I’m needed; the most important thing is the team, the club, and us continuing to grow through victories.”

The game against Real Madrid CF

“It's a special game, and the last one of these at Mestalla against Real Madrid CF. Hopefully we can get a victory, as the fans deserve it.”
