Diego López' remarkable reliability with Valencia CF

The Valencia CF forward played minutes in every match of the 2024/25 LaLiga season
Diego López was one of the most important players for Valencia CF in the 2024/25 campaign, and was one of the few players in LaLiga to have featured in every single match of the domestic competition.

The 23 year old played in all 38 official LALIGA matches, accumulating 2,760 minutes. Alongside him, only Antoine Griezmann, Sergi Darder, Ante Budimir, Dodi Lukébakio, David Soria and Joan García were ever-presents in Spain’s top division.
During the season, López contributed 8 goals -making him the team’s second-highest scorer- and provided 5 assists - the most of any Valencia CF player.
Notably, he is among the nominees for Best U-23 Player of the LALIGA EA SPORTS 24-25 season, having already earned the award for Best U-23 Player of the Month in March. Internationally, he is also a key player for Spain’s U-21 national team, with whom he won the Olympic gold medal in Paris. López has been included in the squad for the preparation phase of the 2025 UEFA European Championship.
