Obrun, new VCF eSports x Ramboot player

The road for VCF eSports x Ramboot begins on February 25, 2025, on Matchday 1 of LALIGA FC PRO. One of the members of the Valencian team will be Francesco Pio Tagliaferro ‘Obrun’ - recently incorporated into the ‘Ramboot’ squad to compete in this tournament - who, together with ‘Xraafaa’, will fight to conquer the prestigious national sports video games title.

In the current season, his results in EA FC25 place him on the podium of the best players. He is ‘Top 1’ FC PRO Open 2025 Global Qualifier, champion of FC PRO Open Cup #1 Europe East, ‘Top 1’ FC PRO Open Group Stage #1, finalist in FC PRO Open Finals and he is unbeaten in the Global Stage and FC PRO Open Cup.

Career

‘Obrun’ has been passionate about football since he was a child. In fact, he shares this passion with his younger brother, with whom he used to play both on football pitches and on video game consoles. At 17 years of age he was discovered by the agency ‘Exeed’ and, just one year later (in 2021), he moved to Milan with the aim of reaching the highest level of FIFA eSports competition.

In the 2021-2022 season, ‘Obrun’ played in eSerie A for Torino, a team with which he won the EA Sports FIFA 22 championship. With this title he came to be considered one of the best players of the moment.

Francesco has accumulated important results, among which stand out: champion of Global Series Q3 FIFA 22, champion of Global Series Playoffs FIFA 22, ‘Top 3’ at FIFAe World Cup 2022, ‘Top 5’ eSerie A 2023, champion of FIFAe Club Series FIFA 23 Europe South-East Playoffs, ‘Top 5’ eChampions League 2023, ‘Top 9’ FIFAe Club World Cup 2023, ‘Top 3’ FIFAe World Cup 2023, ‘Top 5’ FC PRO Open 2024 and ‘Top 5’ eSerie A 2024.

At international level, he has represented Italy since 2022. With the Italian national team he has achieved ‘Top 3’ at FIFAe Nations Cup 2022, ‘Top 5’ FIFAe Nations Series 2023 Europe Playoffs, ‘Top 3’ FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 and ‘Top 3’ UEFAe Euro 2024.
