Cor Blanquinegre schools, honorable mention at the sports and citizenship awards 

The Fundació VCF’s Escoles Cor Blanquinegre initiative has received an honourable mention at the 2025 Sports and Citizenship Awards, whose gala ceremony took place this Tuesday, bringing together the 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions.

The awards, presented by the Chair of Sports Studies at the Universitat Politècnica de València, in collaboration with the Generalitat Valenciana, recognise the work of organisations that promote sport in ways that embrace the values of equality and non-discrimination.

In the case of Escoles CB, the awards recognise its success in using football to promote the integration and equality of boys and girls from vulnerable backgrounds and those at risk of social exclusion.

Inma Ibáñez, Director of the Fundació VCF, and Antonio Salvador, Escoles CB Coordinator, collected the award on behalf of this Valencia CF initiative, which is now in its 12th consecutive year.
