Óscar Fernández: “We’ve got to keep working to achieve that long awaited win against La Nucía”

VCF Mestalla head coach, Óscar Fernández, assessed the 1-0 loss away to their neighbours Atlético Levante in the Valencia derby.
“These were three points that could have either given us a lifeline or punish us a bit more. The team stood up and were counted. But we were on the wrong side of a penalty incident and a red card. Only the referee knows what he called there.
It looked as though we were dominating with eleven and then with ten men, we had our chances and we had an Emaná goal disallowed at the other end which seemed legitimate after watching the replay.
We’ve got two massive games coming up and we’ve got to keep working to achieve that long-awaited victory and clear our heads and go again at the Antonio Puchdaes on Saturday”.
