The VCF Footballers' Association and Valencia CF, together in favor of active and healthy aging and memory stimulation
The current edition of the Football-based Reminiscence Workshops that the Valencia CF Footballers' Association celebrates in collaboration with the LaLiga Foundation and the Spanish Federation of Veteran Footballers' Associations (FEAFV) has put its point and followed this past week with the visit of the two groups to Camp de Mestalla, hand in hand with Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation.
Fernando Giner (President of the Footballers' Association), Vicente Guillot, Luis Pascual, Rafael Domingo, Miguel Ángel Adorno and Juan Catafau, as well as Valencia CF ambassador Miguel Ángel Bossio, coordinated the last two sessions that included a guided tour of Mestalla in which former players and users of the Ballesol Residence in Burjassot and DomusVi in Valencia were able to recall and work on their memories based on anecdotes and experiences of their youth linked to the emblematic stadium and the history of the Club.
These workshops were held simultaneously during the first third of the 2023-24 season. Specifically, there have been a total of 12 sessions, which were led by footballers from the Association, and also included the presence of legends such as Ricardo Arias, Miguel Ángel Bossio and Miguel Tendillo, ambassadors of the Club. Bossio emphasizes that it is a pleasure to work in these workshops "and the transmission is mutual".
