mestalla centenary

Mestalla was inaugurated on May 20th of 1923. It was the start which bid farewell to the old ground, Alguirós which will stay in the Valencianistas' minds forever as the club's first-ever home ground. From that day, the coliseum on Suecia Avenue has turned into the heart of Valencia CF and one of the city's most important landmarks. 

Now, Mestalla turns 100 years old. 100 years of goals, chants and passion for an iconic place for Valencia CF and worldwide football.
